Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the contact form. I will get back to you as soon as I can. From here we can discuss details about the shoot or any questions you might have and get you marked on my calendar!

Connect
Before we get together for the shoot, we’ll have a call to discuss details such as: where the session will take place, what to wear, etc. I want you and the others, who might be joining us for the session, to feel comfortable . . . so feel free to discuss with me your thoughts, ideas, and any questions you have!
03.
The day of
On the day of the shoot we will meet at the desired location for the session and again go over your ideas and any questions you may have to make sure we're on the same page! In addition, I'll offer suggestions I may have in order to ensure that your shoot gives you the outcome you desire. From here we will jump right in, and the fun will begin!
04.
Gallery delivery
Once the shoot is complete, I'll get to work editing the photos. The finished photos will be ready and delivered in 1 to 3 business weeks. For weddings the finished gallery will be complete in 5-8 business weeks. Once I get your gallery uploaded I will shoot you a text and then you'll receive an email that will include your password and pin to download your gallery!
Additional Information!!
- Every photo session is different! That being said the length of time a photo session will take, will depend on how many locations and outfits you desire, as well as what kind of photo session you're wanting. During our phone call I will give you a guesstimate on how long the photo session should take, but there's a great chance we could go under or over the estimated time. I am not a fan of being rushed, and I would hate for my clients to feel rushed during a shoot! This is our time to not just take pictures, but to create some memories :)

How do I book a photography session with Photos by Emilie?
Booking a photography session is easy! I have multiple contact buttons throughout my website... click on one of those and it will take you to the contact page. From here you can fill out the information and questions provided and you'll hear back from me as soon as possible! (Follow my instagram page, where I post information & updates)
This is my first photoshoot and I'm kind of nervous...
There's a first time for everything! I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and confident. When you've officially booked me, we'll chat about all the details over the phone to make sure you know what to expect! If you have any questions prior to booking, feel free to contact me through email or my Instagram DMs!
How do I choose a location for pictures?
Once you've reached out and we've finalized your date and you've paid your deposit, I can help you with location ideas! What we're creating and the vibe of the shoot will help us with figuring out the perfect location. From here I'll do research and find out where the best spots will be to have your session, and together we can pick the perfect spot! If you already have a location in mind, that's great! Send me your idea(s) and we can go over the details!
What should I wear?
Once you've reached out and paid your deposit, I can help you with outfit ideas! Outfits and locations play into each other, so moving forward I can give you some tips on what may look best depending on your location, and you can style yourself in a way that makes you feel confident and will be the most appealing!
Travel Fees
I am a Nebraska based photographer, but I love to travel! Travel fees will depend on the exact location of your shoot. Once you've reached out and we've decided on where the best places to take pictures are, the travel fee will be added onto your final cost! Travel fees include flights, stay, travel car if needed, and compensation of time it takes me to travel. For photo sessions in Nebraska, a travel fee will be applied to anything that is 45 miles or more. If you have any questions, feel free to email or DM me on Instagram!
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives for the best possible outcome for your photos. Together we can figure something out so you get the results you desire! We can also discuss if you would rather keep the scheduled date and create a fun and rainy/snowy photoshoot :)
What happens after the photo session?
It usually takes me 2-3 weeks (sometimes less, depends on the season) after a shoot to send out your gallery. A few days after the shoot I'll do my absolute best to give you some sneak peeks!!!! Every photoshoot is different, but normally you'll receive 75+ images in your gallery.
